Well I have one tired little bunny back in his cage right now. We had our first rabbit agility class at the Animal Humane Society in Golden Valley. It was at 10:30 and we left around 9:40 to stop by the bank to get cash to pay for the classes, and we ended up there a little early. Geronimo decided he needed to get acquainted with some of the other bunnies via mounting them, so he wasn't allowed t roam free at first. Once everyone got the harnesses and what not figured out we started with teaching them how to sit, and to hop/walk when told on the leash. Geronimo did pretty well I think. He got a little tired and confused about half way through and started laying down a lot and keeping himself tight against the wall. We worked a little on going right and left with foot cues, which he did a few times, but we'll be working on it some more. The last thing was going to a target, which was a blue lid type thing in our case and we gave him treats when he went to it/or us. He was pretty pooped by that point, so that didn't happen much.
After class was over we stopped by Jen's Pampered Chef party at her house. We came just in time for food, which was a quiche type egg dish, and dessert. Avery played with the kids and before we left we took Geronimo outside on his leash for a little hop around. So now we're finally home and he is voluntarily snoozing in his cage. Big day for a little bunny!
