Well Avery went to Hancock to visit my grandparents and cousins from Wednesday till yesterday afternoon. She apparently had a good time playing with my cousin Kendra and Aunt Pam. They got back yesterday afternoon and we went to TGI Fridays which was yummy.
Avery and I went to see my friend Ken and Nicole's 2 week old little girl and WOW was she jealous. She did NOT want me holding that baby. She kept trying to climb in my lap with her and she was extremely pouty for a decent amount of time after we left. It was pretty humorous actually. Keira is adorable however. I miss Avery being an itty bitty baby sometimes!
Today we had plans to go to the water park with Cece and Lexi but its to darn windy. So we are going to shift plans to a regular park or go to Look Out Ridge in Woodbury. I haven't decided yet. Everyones napping so we'll figure it out after that.

Taste of MN
If you have considered going to the Taste of MN before but haven't, don't. Its not worth it. $5 for 8 tickets and everything costs around 8 up to 12. Kids rides are 6, and they suck. Not to mention there was a bunch of inflatables, one being the Titanic sinking, where kids slid to the bottom. Talk about morbid. Yay slide to your deaths! Fun huh? In 50 years will they have inflatables of the twin towers for kids to jump off of? Jeesh.
Avery did get to eat some sweet potato fries, cheese curds, ice cream, and cotton candy however, which I think she was quite pleased with. Lexi came back to the house for a little bit afterwards and wow were they wound up. She'll be coming over tomorrow as well and I'm hoping things will be a bit more mellow, but I'm not counting on it. She's a bit higher strung than Avery and it tends to rub off on her. Theres always the park for them to burn energy.

Como Zoo
Sunday we went to the Como Zoo with Andrea and Cece. We got there at about 4 and the zoo closes at 6 so we didn't have a ton of time. Avery and I went in the butterfly tent thing while we were waiting for them to get there then we saw the flamingos and ducks, monkeys, lions, and tigers. Then it was icecream time and the zoo was closing so we went to the little amusement park- Como Town. They went on rides for around another hour and then we headed home. Avery really likes the faster rides and its funny how bored she gets on the slow ones. Cece refused to join her on the frog hopper though. She got quite scared on the swings and wasn't a fan of most of the rides there after. (Cece that is. Not Avery of course!) The rest of the week wasn't too eventful we went the park, etc and Tierney was over today with my mom before they left to go to the cabin.
Tomorrow I was thinking that Avery would be back at her normal 8:30ish from Robins but I guess she needs her back by 5ish or just spend the night there. That changes up the plans a little bit but I'm okay with it either way so I'm going to ask Avery if she wants to spend the night at Grandma's. We'll see what she thinks!
