New Beta

Today Avery got to go to Petsmart and pick out her very own beta. She chose a red one that she has tentatively named Pinky or Little Red. She often refers to him as Berta but she knows how to say Beta so *shrugs* I forgot to rinse off the rocks in his bowl so I'm hoping that there isn't anything icky on them that will end up killing him. I did remember to buy water conditioner so that won't be the death of him. Not that I've ever done that before... Hopefully Little Red/Pinky will live long and prosper. Keep your fingers crossed for him.
